We deployed the second temperature logger on our tree nurseries exactly one month ago and yesterday we collected it, together with the other placed on the rack nursery.
The loggers recorded the temperature of the water, every hour, 24 hours for about a month, in two different area of our coral garden on the house reef of Feridhoo.
After downloading and analyzing the data, we noticed that the highest temperature was recorded on november 7th around midday and was 30.86°C. The lowest temperature logged was on october 24th at 3.00 am and was 29.15°C.
Overall, the average temperature was between 29,7 and 29.9 °C. The graphs show the average temperature for everyday.
In the last 5 days, the worsening of the weather conditions, together with heavy rain, happened simultaneously with the decreasing of the sea temperature recorded.
We deployed the loggers again, ready to know the changes in the next month! Stay tuned
