"Old" friends

We are focused on the fragments that we put on the nurseries, but we can't forget our "old" corals, the ones already planted back on our fixed structures on the reef.

We tried multiple solutions and we realized that the better one was using a metal structure anchored to the reef, to give the corals the opportunity to grow safely and away from sand or other hazards.

There are a lot of options around, like different types of glue, cement, epoxydic glue. But unfortunately there are not the right condition on our nurseries for these tools to work. It is probably either too warm ot the current is too strong, but whenever we tried, the corals just didn't stay.

We are still looking for more solutions, ecofriendly and maybe easy to find in remote islands, like the Maldives.

We will keep you posted!
